This electric vehicle charging station testing equipment allows you to service and test EV chargers deployed in public and commercial areas for electrical safety and compliance to AS/NZS 3017 standards.
The Metrel MI 3136 EurotestCOMBO XC Multifunction Installation Tester can be used to check the installation, functionality and safety of EV charging stations and all other aspects of electrical installations. It features EVSE testing support and predefined AUTO SEQUENCE® functionality, enabling the user to check every aspect of EV charging stations at the push of a button.
Note: EVSE AUTO SEQUENCE® functionality requires the optional A 1532 XA EVSE Adapter
EV Charger Tester | Metrel | 1532 XA Adapter
The A 1532 EVSE XA adapter is used for verification of electrical safety and functional testing of EVSE together with supported METREL installation testers. It is intended for testing Mode 3 EV supply equipment with a type 2 connector. XA version supports 3 phase load testing up to 13 A and different error types, including PE open. If used together with Metrel AUTOSEQUENCES®, prebuilt in the newer multifunctional testers, the complete EVSE charging station can be tested (state-by-state) electrically and functionally with a push of a button. In addition, the Metrel MI 3136 EurotestCOMBO XC Multifunction Installation Tester can check TN and TT earthing systems and features four predefined automatic test sequences. It is equipped with a comprehensive range of measurement procedures and tests:

- Continuity of PE conductors with 7mA test current without RCD tripping

The optional A 1532 XA EVSE Adapter connects directly to charge points without opening the enclosure, simulating EV connection status at the turn of a switch. Simple connection via a Type 2 EV plug to the charge point, with standard 4mm connections to the tester. The A 1532 XA can be used with any installation tester, however optimum performance is achieved with Metrel Multifunction Testers.
APPLICATION: On-site testing of EVSE charging station installation. Initial and periodic testing of private, semi-private and public EVSE charging stations.
