A provider who only sells boxes and hands you a referral to an unvetted electrician creates a scenario where responsibility for the installation’s performance is unclear from day one. When something goes wrong, the supplier says it’s an installation issue; the electrician says it’s a hardware issue. Neither is accountable for your charging network’s uptime.

Grey market imports from offshore providers sometimes quote four to twelve week lead times on hardware. For a commercial project with a defined go-live date, that creates real risk. Ask prospective providers where their stock is held and what the typical lead time is from order to delivery.
