How to Install an EV Charger at Home

Step by Step Installation Process

  • Step 1: Site assessment. The electrician checks switchboard capacity and plans cable route.
  • Step 2: Switchboard testing. Circuit breakers and RCD protection are verified.
  • Step 3: Mounting the charger. The Ocular unit is fixed to the wall.
  • Step 4: Cable connection. Wiring is run to the charger location.
  • Step 5: Testing. The electrician tests load, safety and charger operation.
