Will this work with my car?

If your EV has a Type 2 charging port, yes. A Type 2 port is a round socket with 7 pins and a flat top edge. Nearly every EV sold in Australia uses it. Some older models, such as the first-generation Nissan Leaf and earlier Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, use a Type 1 port instead. If you’re unsure, contact our team before you order.

Will this charger make my car charge faster?

Your actual charging speed is set by the charging station you plug into and your car’s onboard charger.The output is adjustable, so you can match it to the outlet you’re using. If you’re getting less than you expect, our team can help work out why.

Can I use this as an extension lead?

No. This cable is designed to connect your EV to a charging station only.
