Exploren – With over 100 AC charging stations across Sydney, Exploren operates the largest EV charging network in the Sydney region on PlugShare. Ther stations are equipped with Type 2 plugs, the industry standard in Australian and Europe, making them compatible with most electric vehicles.
Chargefox – Coming in as a close second, Chargefox manages 96 charging stations in Sydney, according to PlugShare. While slightly fewer in number than Exploren, Charefox offers more high-powered chargers, including 12 fast-charging stations. Users can easily access the service by downloading the Chargefox app from the App store or Google Play.
Jolt – Though smaller, with 43 charging stations in Sydney, Jolt offers a unique advantage: its stations include advertising spaces, providing an extra revenue stream for owners. Jolt chargers support CCS2 and CHADeMO plugs, catering to a variety of electric vehicles.
