What is a Level 2 EV Charger

A Level 2 charger is an wall EV charger that provides between 7kW and 22 kW of AC power. It is the standard charging solution for Australian homes and delivers faster charging compared to a standard 10amp portable charger which plugs into a household outlet. All EVSE recommended chargers, including Ocular IQ Home Solar and Ocular LTE, are Level 2 chargers.

Level 2 charger overview
