To be eligible you must:
To be eligible you must:
▪ have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be one of the following entities:
▪ a Local Government Body
▪ a Joint Local Government Body (as defined in section 14).
To be eligible your project must:
▪ be aimed at meeting the objectives of the grant opportunity, as outlined in Section 2.
▪ have at least $50,000 in eligible expenditure (total project cost)
▪ be aimed at energy efficiency and/or electrification and/or load flexibility upgrades that reduce costs and emissions for local government’s facilities or operations using commercially available technologies.
Grant Amount & Period:
$100 Million over 2 rounds from 2024 – 2027
For Round 1 up to $50 million is available.
Grant amount is up to 50% of eligible expenditure
▪ The minimum grant amount is $25,000
▪ The maximum grant amount is $2,500,000.
