Anna is a new member that we’re happy has joined the EVSE Marketing Team in the Sydney office, given her positive attitude and marketing expertise.
Study
I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Management, majoring in Strategy, from the Swiss University of Lausanne. In addition, I completed a student exchange year at the University of New South Wales (UNSW Business School) during my Bachelor’s Degree, as well as the MBA exchange semester at Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA, during my Masters. During my studies at these 3 universities, I achieved high-/distinction results in marketing & strategy courses and developed a hard-working, result-oriented personality with great flexibility and eagerness to learn.
Work
Worked in Switzerland in luxury retail (High Jewellery & Swiss Watches), global FMCG corporation (Nestlé Nespresso), and real estate & consulting company.
In my most recent position, I was responsible for acquisition and retention strategy activation for multibrand watches & jewelry boutiques.
At Nestlé Nespresso headquarters, I developed the Integrated Marketing Plan and marketing activities recommendations for clusters of 43 Nespresso markets in line with the global business strategy. In this 8-month cross-functional teams project, I conducted extensive market research and data analysis in the global coffee industry, analyzing consumer preferences such as coffee drinking habits (e.g., size of a coffee cup and milk consumption).
Enjoy in your spare time? Family and friends. Badminton on Saturday evening and fitness a few times per week. I love traveling and have been to 30 countries so far.
What brought you into EVSE to take the role?
Have not worked before with a smaller, agile, and open culture that acts in a flat structure without a hierarchy. Felt a good vibe during the first interview. I think the industry has a big potential for growth, perhaps even with the chance to take the brand global..
Sustainability. I pay a lot of attention to recycling, especially after seeing the polluted ocean in Bali, making me feel extremely frustrated. However, I’m not sustainable enough because I like to take a plane to travel 😀
Favourite film/TV show. Pirates of the Caribbean series. Game of Thrones. Money Heist
Favourite book. Detective stories (read all of Agatha Christie’s. “Hercule Poirot” series) and psychology (Dale Carnegie)
Music. Techno, house, pop.
Best place you’ve visited. Morocco, the US, Australia, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Italy. Originally from Ukraine and then lived in Switzerland. I speak French, Russian, Ukrainian, English, German, and Italian. Looking to learn Spanish. Keen to stay an international citizen.
Place you want to visit. Brazil, return to the US. Japan. Antarctica via Chile.
Are you a revhead? Not really. I like Mini Coopers and red cars. I don’t know much about cars besides the styling, perhaps because I never had my own.
EV to buy in the future. A Tesla of some sort, because they are more sustainable and avoid using petrol in the future
Food. Sushi
Goals. Move from executional marketing position to strategic and then to business development / strategy.
What do you see as the key benefits of our brand? Sustainability, electric power and greener solutions. The information is easy to understand for anyone. Great customer experience through blogs, social media, or on the phone with team members.
What makes a successful business? Many things. The product has to be helpful and useful. The marketing strategy, including important partnerships as well as customer experience provided by the sales team.
Things to buy. An apartment in Sydney. Then a car.
